We’re going back to the actual offices and it usually means a lot of after-work-gatherings, so what’s best then being dressed in a way that allows you to look good in both situations?
In the last days of 2021, just when we were getting ready to say goodbye to the old and hello to the new, something came up: TikTok started to talk about the comeback of 2010’s style. It’s not much of a surprise after the Y2K domination – one of last year’s biggest trends, for better or worse – but I confess I didn’t think it would happen so fast.
The first week of 2022 showed me how wrong I was and I saw that the style is on a big rise now, specially the famous ‘Business Casual’ that we all got so used to in the past decade. Rihanna is back at it and Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid hopped on the trend, so we can be sure that it will be all over our Instagram feeds and TikTok for you pages.
Just like most of the trends last year, Gen-Z is the main reason for it to become popular again.
It’s time for the people who saw it happen, but were too young to actually dress like that, to live the 2010’s dream – or at least part of it – and the timing is just perfect. Home-office is ending, we’re going back to the actual offices and it usually means a lot of after-work-gatherings, so what’s best then being dressed in a way that allows you to look good in both situations?
