Alessandro Navarro Duque: Be grateful. my inspiration comes every day.

Happy to have you here, Alessandro. Tell us your story, How did you got started modeling and where is your home at the moment?

Thank you again for the space. Happy to keep working with you and this wonderful magazine. I started as a model by chance, my mom enrolled me in baby brand castings. At a more professional level, I started with Avenue models in Guadalajara since 2013, then I paused and reintegrated in 2018, from there until today I haven't stopped. I currently live in Mexico City.

Tell us more about yourself. What else do you do next to modeling?

I'm currently studying a medical career.

What do you love most about being a model? And, What do you least enjoy?

I enjoy having the opportunity to meet wonderful people and talents. The thing I enjoy the least is envy, many people think we are paid to do “nothing” and to be a true model, is not only required of a pretty face.

What is the most challenging being a model?

Have little time for a relationship, sometimes for your family. having to travel or be busy and sacrifice your time, being a model doesn't end up making runways, commercials, or photography, it's a lot of discipline.

If you could change something in the modeling world, What would it be?

I wish there was no hypocrisy about bodies. large fashion companies so far demand standardized measures, but only when fashion is in inclusion, do they make momentary changes, but deep down it is simple consumerism, they will always be at the forefront, and that is cruel.

What fuels your imagination and provides you with inspiration?

Be grateful. my inspiration comes every day.

What keeps you excited about life in general?

Have a chance to live one more day. there comes a point in your life where health is wealth.

Looking back how has modeling experience changed your personal/professional life? Have you grown more comfortable with yourself since you started?

I've become a very demanding person with myself, but without losing my essence.

What kind of life would you like to have?

The one I have at present is sensational, I just wish I had the opportunity to continue doing what I love.

What are the achievements you are proud of most today?

Absolutely everyone. being on magazine covers is an amazing gratification to both my work and my colleagues, overcoming my fears in runways and auditions, at times I don't believe it myself has done so many things, but I'm proud of myself.
