Happy to have you here, Alexandra. Tell us your story, how did you get started modeling and where is your home at the moment?

I leave and work in Los Angeles but originally I am from Serbia. In my hometown is where I started modeling as a young girl. My mother Dina applied me for the fist modeling school and the rest is a history.

Tell us more about yourself. What else do you do next to modeling?

I am a singer and violinist. I started to sing at the age of 4 and to play the Violin at the age of 6. In the Belgrade National Theater is where I was trained as an opera singer in a class of the first Belgrade Prima - Donna Gordana Jevtovic. From Europe I moved to the United States after I was discovered by Beyoncé’s songwriter Wayne Wilkins. In his studio as well in Miley Cyrus’s studio and in Universal Music Publishing Group is where I recorded my first songs for the U.S market.

What do you love most about being a model? And, what do you least enjoy?

Creativity is the thing I love the most. I love to impersonate a different woman anytime I’m in the front of the camera. Like in music industry, modeling takes a lot of hard work and determination if you want to make it your career. What I least enjoy is that I have to diet all the time to remain trim and healthy.

What is the most challenging being a model?

Modeling is not as easy and glamorous as it first appears. It takes a lot of hard work, dedication and commitment to make it to the top.

If you could change something in the modeling world, what would it be?

I would prefer if the normality in the fashion world are models of all shapes, sizes, skin tones , ages and disabilities. Another thing is for those who work behind the -scenes to have a little more credit for their work.

What fuels your imagination and provides you with inspiration?

Inspiration can be found all around us if we just take time to stop, look around and truly appreciate everything that life has given us even in our toughest moments. Specifically for me it’s love, friends, music and traveling but if you are in the moment the one thing I’m still learning from Echart Tolle, you can find daily inspiration in so many places - big or small.

What keeps you excited about life in general?

Life is beautiful journey that is meant to be embraced to the fullest every day. Anitya ( the idea of constant change ) is what keeps me excited about life. Every day is different from the day before. Our body , thoughts and the world around us has changed. It’s a brilliant knowledge!

Looking back how has modeling experience changed your personal/professional life? Have you grown more comfortable with yourself since you have started?

Being comfortable with myself for me means not comparing myself to others. “ Often, it’s not about becoming a new person, but becoming the person you were meant to be, and already are,but don’t know how to be.” Both of my professions music and modeling helped me to trust myself and to live with no worries of what someone else might think of me.

What kind of life would you like to have?

I want an successful life with my all dream came true. I life where I get to drive my choice of car.

What are the achievements you are proud of most of today?

Having my daughter Ana Maria is my greatest achievement. She is my saviour.
