How long have you been a photographer and how did you get your start in the industry?

I’ve been taking photos professionally for about two years. However, I’ve been fond of this industry since my childhood. As a kid I used to shoot photos of birds in the village.

Maxim, do you remember your very first shoot? How did it go?

Actually, I was very worried before my first photoshoot. Nevertheless, when I met the model, the anxiety disappeared and we took some really awesome shots.

If you could go back and tell yourself one thing before beginning your career what would it be?

If I could turn back to the beginning of my creative way, I would say: “Everything will definitely work out, if you put in great efforts”.

Can you please explain some of the feelings you are trying to achieve in your photographs?

Creating photos, I want to achieve the harmony, to combine colour, light, emotion and idea. I’m eager to bring out viewers’ mixed emotions, when they are looking at these photos. I don’t want shots to be too complicate, just strive to make the viewer explore them with interest.

You are going about conducting a photo shoot, could you take us through the typical planning process for your images?

Photoshoot usually begins with the idea. After that I’m in search for a model. When the model is found, we discuss all the details, look for clothes, location, team. Although everything is very simple, there is still a slight excitement before each shooting.

What has been your most successful moment to date in your career so far?

The most successful moment, which happened to me during the work of the photographer, was the opportunity of being published in the journal, including Malvie. It warms my heart to realize that a huge number of people will see my works.

How has photography influenced you as a person and what do you love most about being a photographer?

Photography influenced my life dramatically. I began to peer into the things around me, disassemble them in colour and composition. Among all the features of the profession of photographer, I really appreciate communication with different people and great prospects for development.

What would you say is your style of photography?

The style of my photos displays the style of my own life. So, I create bright photos to encourage a person to take actions and improve oneself.

Are there any current projects you’re working on that you can tell us about?

There are three projects I’m working on at the moment. One of them is based on the set in our dull blocks of flats. I’d like to show that beauty is concealed even in everyday things.

Where can our readers keep up with your work and get connected with you?

You can contact me in Instagram @quvmv. I’ll be happy to answer all questions.

I also want to thank my team @snchko & @meowletta. These shots wouldn’t exist without them.
