Cutouts: according to NYFW, the trend is staying with us

New York Fashion Week just happened and, thankfully, showed a bit of its groove this season. Designers presented their shows and allowed themselves to get swept up in the fervent, anything-goes excitement and magic that comes with creating clothes for a new season. I don’t think we can say it was fashion week as a performance yet, but it was something close to it — and just like any good show, it was still a means of escapism. I guess it's safe to say you should start getting excited about 2022 Fashion trends, and that’s why I chose to talk about one of my personal favorites, that was spotted all over NYFW: cutouts.

In case we haven't said – and saw – it enough, 2021 was the year of the cutout. The trend really took hold, but given the recent collections for next spring that we viewed last week, the eye-catching silhouettes aren't going anywhere. In fact, they're only getting spicier – and we’re even more excited about it.
