Tell us a little bit about yourself and your background.

My name is Estefania, I'm 23 and I'm a professional fashion, product and advertising photographer. From the age of 12 with the first social networks I already started in the world of photography as a hobby and it was not until 2 years ago that I began to professionalize in the sector and I cannot be happier!

Why did you choose to pursue a career as a photographer?

Well ... I have studied many things, in fact I was at university studying Chinese philology but I had always been interested in the audiovisual world, more specifically the photography sector and in the end I opted for what I liked the most and left the university career to start to train in what I really wanted to do, which was photography.

How would you describe yourself to people that don't know you?

I consider myself a very hard-working and creative person. I really like working in a team and meeting new people who give me new knowledge :)

What are the key ingredients for a striking image?

I think the color and cleanliness of the image when editing is very important. I think that good editing is the key to an impressive photograph apart from a good framing and cropping.

How long does it take to create one of these wonderful works?

The truth is that this takes a very large pre-production. The result looks great but not everything is so easy, contact designers, makeup artists, find models that suit the theme of the session, preparation of moodboards and poses, preparation of lighting ... these are things that are not seen in the final image but it is what I consider most important for a job to go well.

Has your vision and style evolved or changed over time?

Of course! Every time I learn something new my vision changes completely and I try to apply it to my work and my style.

Could you share how you expand your vision of art, as a photographer?

I buy a lot of fashion magazines. I look at new trends in clothing, makeup and photographic lighting.

What do you think is the hardest thing in your life you've ever had to overcome?

Deciding to train in photography was a very difficult decision because at first I did not have much support, but right now I am very happy to have decided this.

What has been the highlight of your career so far and what are your hopes/dreams for the future?

Being able to publish in a magazine like Malvie for me is a dream come true, I just hope that this does not end here and that I can continue to grow in all areas.

Where can our readers keep up with your work and get connected with you?

You can find me on instagram as @uve.photo, you can contact me and we chat, and I am open to collaborations! :)

Estefanía Villena's point about the importance of color and cleanliness in image editing resonates deeply with me. When editing, ensuring that the image is visually appealing and free from distractions is crucial. It’s similar to how engaging it is to chat with strangers online; a clear and well-maintained environment enhances the overall experience. Just as vibrant and clean images capture attention and convey messages effectively, a neat chat interface makes interactions more enjoyable and meaningful. Whether editing photos or engaging in online conversations, paying attention to these details can significantly enhance the experience for everyone involved.
