Happy to have you here, Ida. Tell us your story, how did you got started modeling and where is your home at the moment?
Thank you, it’s a pleasure! I actually took photography courses in school. During that time, I discovered that I loved the art of story-telling and creating beautiful photographs. Additionally, I’ve always loved fashion, dressing up, and modeling. After doing a ton of research, and practicing daily, I finally went to my first casting call in 2019! I’m currently residing in Chicago, IL.
Tell us more about yourself. What else do you do next to modeling?
Besides modeling, I love to sing, dance, work out, cook/bake, explore, and just enjoy life.
What do you love most about being a model? And, what do you least enjoy?
I love that I can express myself in modeling, and I can be the one to bring ideas to life! There isn’t anything that I don’t enjoy, sometimes the pressure may be a bit overwhelming but it is always worth it in the end, every time!
What is the most challenging being a model?
The most challenging part of being a model is maintaining your image, sometimes no matter what, in my opinion.
If you could change something in the modeling world, what would it be?
If I could change anything in the modeling world, I’d create more opportunities to be scouted in smaller cities.
What fuels your imagination and provides you with inspiration?
Remembering where I was when I dreamed of being where I am now, inspires me. Imagining where I will be in the future fuels my imagination.
What keeps you excited about life in general?
What keeps me excited about life is knowing that each day is another opportunity to chase my dreams
Looking back how has modeling experience changed your personal/professional life? Have you grown more comfortable with yourself since you have started?
Modeling has definitely changed my personal life for the better, I feel more confident with myself than before I started. I’ve learned to love every angle , and even the off guard photos of myself
What kind of life would you like to have?
I’m pushing for myself to live a life that the younger version of myself always wanted to, a life full of peace, happiness, opportunities, and wealth.
What are the achievements you are proud of most of today?
Some achievements that I’m proud of are graduating early with honor roll, and now working towards my bachelors degree in psychology. I have also received an award from national restaurant association, by completing 2.5 years of culinary arts. I’ve learned Spanish, as well as Arabic, making me trilingual. These are just some achievements that I’m most proud of and they won’t be the last!
