Happy to have you here, Pavol. Tell us your story, how did you get started modeling and where is your home at the moment?
My modeling career has started 4 years ago by message from the modeling agency’s scout. I was invited to the casting, which was successful and I was chosen as their model and my very first photoshoot was for my modeling book. My current home is in Slovakia, Europe.
Tell us more about yourself. What else do you do next to modeling?
I am 24 years old. This year I graduated from the University and I become a pharmacist. I also work as a creative consultant for upcoming models. Modeling and pharmacy don’t have a lot of in common, but they are equally important to me.
What do you love most about being a model? And, what do you least enjoy?
Modeling is my passion. There are so much emotions that you can express without a single word, you are seen and not heard, there is a story to tell, like character to tell that you are portraying through the movement. I can also use my creativity and make an art. The least enjoyable part is the lack of knowledge how hard this work can be by the society.
What is the most challenging being a model?
In my point of view, the most challenging part is to bring my vision to the final photos and create a quality work that can still inspire others.
If you could change something in the modeling world, what would it be?
I would like to see an equal behavior to all types of models in general, because the beauty is very subjective topic.
What fuels your imagination and provides you with inspiration?
There is a lot of inspiration, for example video clips, lyrics of the songs, fashion magazines like yours and also work of other models, but for me, the biggest inspiration is my life experiences and life itself.
What keeps you excited about life in general?
I think that it would be joy of life, doing what you love and having a right people around you and don’t care about others’ opinions. This is the recipe for the happy life.
Looking back how has modeling experience changed your personal/professional life? Have you grown more comfortable with yourself since you have started?
Modeling has changed my life in many ways, mostly positive. There is a lot of attention, but I still have to be careful about it. I definitely fell more comfortable with myself and I try to stay humble as much as I can.
What kind of life would you like to have?
I would like to have successful, but peaceful life, full of happiness and love.
What are the achievements you are proud of most of today?
Probably, the biggest success of my career was the front cover in fashion magazine, but I am also very proud of my runway walk at the fashion show, publication in photo story book, which had premiere in London and other publications in fashion magazines.
Where can our readers keep up with your work and get connected with you?
You can find me and also my artwork in fashion magazines and also on my Instagram @pavolklucka. Thank you for your time and best wishes!
