Roxana Raducu: I am living the life I always wanted to live

Happy to have you here, Roxana. Tell us your story, how you got started modeling, and where is your home at the moment.

I started modeling at a very young age, I started working in my free time as a hobby and in time modeling became an important part of my life, and for the moment I live in Romania.

Tell us more about yourself. What else do you do next to modeling?

I like being positive, traveling, and getting to know new cultures, customs, and interesting people, I don t like having negative people around me, I m ambitious and I accomplished most of my goals and my motto never says never. recently I took my passion for makeup to a professional level and I opened my own makeup studio.

What do you love most about being a model? And, what do you least enjoy?

I think what I love the most is the flexible schedule and that I get to travel a lot for work, it s a lot of fun, but it takes a lot of hard work and self-discipline so it s not as easy as seen from the outside.

What is the most challenging being a model?

Perhaps the biggest challenge is sacrificing my personal life, it's not easy to find stability for a relationship in this career.

If you could change something in the modeling world, what would it be?

I guess I would change people's perception models don't often get the credit they deserve in adding to the creative process.

What fuels your imagination and provides you with inspiration?

Everything around me inspires me, nature, and art, I think I have a good aesthetic eye which helps me in my new career as a make-up artist.

What keeps you excited about life in general?

Right now I think my new project with my make-up studio, I have a real passion for makeup, I started working for a fashion tv show on one of the most important networks in Romania so i m really excited about that

Looking back how has modeling experience changed your personal/professional life? Have you grown more comfortable with yourself since you started?

Yes I can honestly say now that it's changed my life for the better I'm a lot more confident and comfortable with myself, I accept my flaws and my qualities.

What kind of life would you like to have?

I am living the life I always wanted to live, my faith and my god have always helped me make my dreams come true.

What are the achievements you are proud of most today?

I'm not gonna make a list of the material things, I am most proud of the fact that I'm financially independent and able to give back.
