"I mean even-more-sparkly, as in crystals upon crystals adorning everything from bags to shoes and even loungerie."
After a very trendless 2020, in 2021 we saw the comeback of maximalism. And a groovy ’70s aesthetic took over us, as seen in trippy technicolor prints, flared pants and an overall more eclectic approach to styling.

Now that 2022 is in full swing, we’re keeping the same energy in terms of making a statement. We are still loving bright and vibrant colors, but solid neon hues are now gaining our attention a little more. And of course, we’re leaning into comfortable fabrics and forgiving silhouettes in lieu of totally moving on from our time spent working from home in sweats – we kinda liked that part of lockdown.

But, if you’re looking to sparkle, you’re in your best luck: sequins and crystals are a huge trend for this year – see, I didn’t say season, I said for the year. Everyday glitz will definitely be the norm, from sparkling skirts to sequined bodysuits and more. And by more, I mean even-more-sparkly, as in crystals upon crystals adorning everything from bags to shoes and even loungerie. Something that may have once been considered tacky is now cool – special thanks to Prada and the sparkly bag, you know the one.
Lucky us, this year is already looking sparkly.
